Yep, goats and sheep both out that way are a pain. I used to hunt Amistad years ago, some guy turned about 50 goats loose on one of the Amistad hunt areas. I wanted to shoot those things so bad. I would be well hidden in some dense brush somewhere and that heard of about 50 would come along either slowly grazing or moving along pretty quickly, thinking they were going to a better spot to eat. They ate everything. When 50 of those things come through the sage brush, they can make some racket. Not to mention, they eat everything in site. There is not a lot out there to eat, to begin with.

There’s goats on the place we hunt. The rancher rotated them with the season for the most part, if they happen to be in the pasture someone hunts feed pens with panels keep them out easily enough. Doesn’t seem to be too many of them relevant to the property size. But I could see how 300 plus on 600 acres with 6 hunters would be a bugger.
