I've sold two vehicles to them. They offered me more than other dealers. Both were fair prices and close to the BB value. You could get more selling privately, but sometimes the hassle and time are not worth it.

Always go there first to get an offer. I have bought one from there with zero issues

I have sold twice to them. Both were higher mileage (150k+) so I knew they were just going to take them to auction. They paid me upper end of what my research said was trade in value.

No problems at all. They were actually very fair.

I bought 1 and slightly overpaid. I sold 1 and it was easy. North Austin Location. My salesman was "yuk" lacking a better word but all else went ok. I recommend elsewhere but a legitimate company.

Of course your going to overpay a little and cant negotiate but sometimes the fact of no drama is worth it. I've sold a few cars to them with no issue.

Also don't forget the impact of the sales tax....sometimes when you figure that in it's not worth the hassle to sell privately.

I bought/sold my last truck thru them---easiest vehicle sale ever (other than going to my buddy at the Chevy dealer). The price offered for my old truck was $225 less than I had figured it was worth.

Just my opinion but based on my one experience, I think their business model is the best in the business.

Sold my BMW to them more than dealership was going to give me. Cut me a check within 30 minutes. Super easy.

I had good luck with one truck. They offered 3k more than any dealer would give me.
The next truck they offered 13k less than what I sold it for privately...
Check out Texas direct auto as well.

Bought a truck from them in Georgia last summer 2016 Ram 2500 low miles good history report " Not carfax but theirs". Drove it back to Texas registered it licensed it. took it to dealer for a recall issue found out threw dealer truck had twice the mileage than was showing on odometer. contacted them they wanted me to drop the truck off at the nearest carmax.. Yae right finally got all my down payment back plus air fair hotel cost to pick up truck initially. I then turned the truck back to them. point is they use their own history report called car check or history check which they own. So they can make it look any way they want. Do your own carfax before buying. Then in December while buying license for the wife's car I find that the 16 Ram is still registered to me. had to fill out a form to get my name off the registration. So check check and recheck.
