Corn/soy bean mix......

i put corn, soybeans, antler max, milo,and sweet feed in the open trough every 3 weeks and they clean it out in 5 days.

Thats what we fed in Gordon and you couldnt keep the feeder filled.

I mix roasted soybeans and corn with my Bee County Protein in my large feeder out west mainly to help flow and keep the protein high. Deer out west (both muleys and WT) eat every last drop from the Hammer Feeder daily.

Deer ration I pick up in Junction at a feed store in town. Not sure on the name but nice people and they sell feeders and what not. I usually buy about 20 bags this time of year and store it in my garage to use as I need it. The deer corn in the pic is from Woodsboro coop. If your in Wharton you should really stop by the Waller rice drier place. If I ever pass anywhere near there I detour and pick up the $20 50lb bags of roasted soybean and make my own mix.

I use that hunters mix (corn,protein,roasted soy beans) and the deer go crazy over it. It’s the soybeans, smells like peanut butter when I pour it in.

I am still mentally and physically scarred from the dart going in like a hypodermic needle but only 1/8" diameter. I am grateful I wasn't around for the bb gun wars. Yall were crazy. I didn't appreciate the treble hooks in the bed at night either
