    recommendations for a waterproof jacket

For bow hunting, what do you folks recommend for a waterproof outer layer?

may or may not be cold. Thinking about a hoodie type of thing. Looking for something quiet and won't break the bank.

Metal roof and sleeping in for me when it’s raining. Wool will keep you warm and is quiet though

I dont know what the actual name is, but I bought a top/bottome set from Cabellas several years ago and I freakin love em. May even be a Cabelas brand (and I buy very few things from Cabelas). Anyrate, they are very soft, quiet, and pack within themselves. Best buy I ever made hunting wise

Explore fully waterproof hunting jackets and pants in various camo patterns for superior protection against the elements. Shop hunting rain gear at KUIU.

Frog Toggs are noisy and tear easily. Not compatible for bowhunting. Good for fishing and golf.

The new one from Cabelas is pretty nice and comes with a little pouch it folds up in to.

                        Thanx,

I think these may do the trick. Wonder if they have these at Bass Pro? A lot closer than Cabelas.

Like mentioned, the cabelas space saver is probably your best choice. They are dry and about as quiet as you’re gonna get without spending some coin, and even then they aren’t silent.
