I’ve got the exact same one. Bought it used 5 years ago. It acts like it wants to bog down when I step on the gas (fuel pump maybe?) but it still runs ok and slow acceleration is no problem. I’d love power steering. The steering wheel can whip hard over rough terrain and will break a finger or thumb if you’re not careful. Especially if you have kids driving it.

Good advice ...what about the brake pedal...it kinda seems loose like there's a bushing going out ...have you experienced any of that

          Yes on the fuel pump.
I have an 09 that I have put several on.
Other than that it’s been a great machine.

I sure wouldn’t buy it if it was used as a mud machine. Other than that I’d think it would be good. a friend of mine had one around that same year model that would shut off. Fuel pump would stop completely. Let it sit a few min and it would run again. Not sure how he ended up fixing it

Are those Fuel pumps costly and hard to put on

Fuel pumps are 50-70 bucks and fairly easy to change.
First time took about an hour. I can change one out now in about 10 minutes.

Pull the air filter and look inside for mud/ water residue. People can clean a used one like new, but often forget that area that will show misuse and abuse.

Most of these will have the nuclear sub conversion kit made from $1.32 worth of pvc

Have you tryed cleaning the intake body where the valve is if you get build up on it it will seal and not let it run correctly

I wasn’t gonna come right out and say that, but for my money Honda is where it’s at. You cannot beat the boring reliability of a Honda period.
