    Fishing in colorado

The kids, wife and myself will be headed to Colorado in the next month. We plan to stay at dispersed campgrounds and work our way south to north. Anyway, I was hoping to fish some of the lakes we stop at and catch some fish to eat. Not relying on this as my only source of food lol. I'm not much of a fisherman. I stock two zebcos from Walmart! Anyone have any idea about how successful I can be? Do they stock those lakes? And r they worth fishing? Thanks in advance for any input or suggestions!

Power trout multiple colors - split shot- small hook. Most lakes are stocked. Just fish like you would catfish. Bring pliers

Watch some of the lakes you can't use bait only lures for trout.

We loaded up a few weeks ago using zebco’s with clear bobbers and some putty type power bait
