My worthless opinion starts with The more pins I have they tend to cluster together. That's why I shoot a site with zero pins. It has a power dot in the crosshairs. This allows for the whole scope be used to see the animal . I use the horizontal line of the cross hairs across the whole body of the animal to help me with up and down while not sliding the site.
Secondly, I don't try and slide mine under pressure situations. But, i only hunt whitetails and hogs. My shots are going to be from 20-35 yards. With modern bows you can put your pin at 30 and forget moving it with shots at these ranges. Just aim a little high or low. Like shooting the gaps on a multi pin site.
I have used the Apex covert pro power dot now for 5 years with no complaints.

Another vote for the Spot Hogg Fast Eddie XL with 2 pins.

I have an HHA Single pin slider for sale in classifieds for half price. Solid sight, no issues just moved to a 3 pin slider this year.
