    Richland Chambers reservoir question..

Been several years since I've been on the lake.Gonna take the wife there this weekend, and see if we can't catch a few bass off the tank dams, and humps;that I remember..Curious if any hydrilla,or other aquatic grass' have took a hold on the main lake..There wasn't any, last time I was there..Course the lake was always low as hell, back then..Thanks,Hart

Not really, its kinda coming back some places but nothing like it used to be before the big drought late 2000's early 2010's. Last time I was there in the spring there was some from the gas pump dock at the oak cove ramp going north to that first cove, not sure what its called. Big buck cove had the most but it was dead in there couldn't catch anything, lots of lilly pads too. Bunch of new docks and houses have gone in big buck and those homeowners also appear to be putting out lots of brushpiles. There wasn't any around the 309 flats, jones branch or blue house.

Anything ever grow up around Winkler?
There were some boys trying to get it started a few years ago..Then the lake dropped again

Have always heard Winker is supposed to be good but never spent much time, probably have been in there in over 10 years. You need to know where your going for Winkler also very stumpy on the entrance and the whole cove if I remember right. I also heard Grape is good but its always been a mudhole for me.

Good to know QB..I was throwing a deep diving crankbait on a windy point, and caught 6 hybrids on 8 casts! Fun for sure!

Long shot..Does anyone know if the private ramp, near TXI;close to I-45 is still open? It was mainly geared towards duck hunters.Been a long time since I put out there. It was real close to pin oak cr.

I fished it one time and went to watch the weigh ins for a Bass masters tournament once. It never turned out to be a really good bass lake imo.

Yeah that's Weavers fishing camp, I haven't been there in a couple years but put a kayak in back then. Kinda a sketchy area I know they found a dead body off the county road few years ago https://www.kxxv.com/story/39670028/...navarro-county
