    Eaton arc fault breakers

Just fyi these are junk in my opinion but it's what came on my house.

I have another one that is blinking the self test red led of death..however instead of going to home depot and puking up 50$ I just called eaton customer svc. Turns out they have lifetime warranty...

So hot tip if you have one of the newer style boxes and exp this just call em and they will send you a replacement out quick for free... I'm sure I will be calling them again.. my house is only a couple yrs old so that tell you the quality of these breakers

I took them all out and put them in a box in the attic, and put regular breakers in the panel.

I would put em on Ebay if I were you
They are selling for like 30$ each

I think I have around 20 or so in my panel that's alot of money sitting in a box

I’ll have to put them back in to pass inspection if we sell the house.

I hope whoever mandated those has some form of necessary medial equipment plugged into one. My parents, grandparents and great grandparents had nothing of the sort. They never cooked toast in the shower and managed

If it thunders it throws all mine on the add on... including the aerobic system... that has all warnings features on them as well... works great

I work with a master electrician that did the same exact thing on his new house. Says he will just swap them back if they ever sell.

I had issues at my last house with them tripping during bad storms. I found that my house wasn’t grounded properly. 30 bucks worth of ground rods and 15 minutes and it never happened again.

I had 10 in my new house. While I was in Alaska, one in my garage (feeding a freezer) tripped ruining a ton of deer, hog, and fish. It’s been over a year with no issues after replacing all 10 with regular breakers.
