Best route to learn Spanish for an 11yo

I’m doing remote learning with my 11yo son and finding ourselves with a lot of free time these first two days. Anyone had any luck with a training course for beginners? I would prefer it to be more focused on job site verbiage...if that’s even an option

Duolingo has an app that teaches through conversation. I downloaded it for myself. Helps a little but is probably best suited for kids

Duolingo or Babble for 6 months then toss him into a yard crew, spanish speaking girlfriend, or etc as mention before or something for 6-12 months...

But in all seriousness he'll have to be submersed into it at one point to truly pick it up.

Babble is great. Used it to learn Italian. Has visuals and everyday situational conversation. You practice reading, spelling and comprehension. You can't advance to the next level unless you are proficient. And the price was right too.

Babble or duo lingo is good to begin learning. I liked pimsleur you listen and repeat sentences its good practice. After you practice for a few months look into Italki. You can get an online teacher who is bilingual to help progress.

My son is about to hit his 100 day streak with duo lingo. He can read and write pretty well but IMO he has missed out some by not doing the speaking part.
