    Moultrie Cell Camera Review

Ok, I've never really been a huge Moultrie fan but I got the XA7000i cell camera last year as had I had GC to burn. Since then I got 2more of their XA6000i since they changed their plans. So far they have been running flawless and viewing pics on app has been super easy. I've had to call tech support twice but that was a user error. The fact that I can look at cameras in almost real time has been amazing. This has been helpful when I head out to stand and I can check feeder and adjust approach accordingly!

I am running the XA6000i as well. So far it has been great. I am in between Junction and Menard with very little cell service, but it is able to get the job done.

Good to know so many options right now on cell cameras make your head spin...

I’ve been running two 7000’s & recently added the 6000.
I like that ability to have instant photos, also control the frequency of pics & then also share the photos with friends

The guys on my lease are using PhotoCircle app to dump & share the lease photos

I know Moultrie recommends Energizer Lithium’s but the Duracell Optimum batteries work great.
I’m in the process of building my own external battery boxes to extend power time. Moultrie sells them for around $65, mine will cost around $37

I am running the Moultrie External Battery Box as well. It has been fantastic for not having to mess with batteries. Which box did you go with?

Do you have to have a plan for each camera or can you run all three cameras off one plan?

They updated where you can add cameras to the plan but you just pay a per camera uplift.

I have 1 XA7000i and 2 XA6000i. I run a Moultrie external battery box on the 7000 as the Axis and blackbuck will make that camera take 1000 pics a day parked at protein feeder. The others I have regular batteries since I'm there every a few days every week.
