    Central A/C unit help!

Was cleaning the coils on my central unit and was finished and was putting the top Fan back on when it slid out of my hands and pulled these 2 wires loose and now I have no idea where they connect! I know I should have looked before or snapped a pic but I didn’t. Most likely I’ll have to call an A/C guy out and no telling what that will cost but thought I’d see if anyone here could
Help me out. One wire is brown and the other is purple. I attached a pic of them and where it looks like they may go, but as the pic shows there are 2 wires and 5 places where that could possibly attach so the combinations are practically endless. The main owner has been secured also. Thanks

Do you know where those 2 wires come from? Looks like they both go to the capacitor which is what you have taken the picture of.

Those two wires are coming from the top fan. I took the pic of the capacitor since I thought that’s were they may go just did t know which connector to attach them too

Looks like a schematic on that panel behind the capacitor.

What color is the third wire that goes to the fan?

Either way, the brown wire goes to that empty pole on the capacitor.
The purple wire will go on the pole of the load side of the contactor that the third, unpictured wire doesn’t go to. Unless its a heat pump unit, in which case it may go to a circuit board.

Take the panel cover off the electrical stuff and post a pic of that.

Or is the third wire one of the oranges on top of the capacitor?

Brown is common purple to fan.

Goes to the capacitor, should be a schematic that details the wiring.

The third wire is black and runs from the top fan down deep inside to the circuit board it appears.

Now that I got the panel with the schematic pulled off I think I may have it figured out. About to reconnect them. Fingers crossed!
