Here is the deal. I suck at aging deer from a couple of pics and no history. I mean my own deer that I have a lifetime of history with would fool me every year without it. This time of year is the worst.

I'm going to qualify my suckieness by saying I'm better than most and I suck.

So is he a mature deer and you stating "teetering between 3-4" was a lie to curtail age guesses? Or do yall consider 3-4 year old deer mature on your lease? Or does on the ground mean in the next couple years?

we dont want to hunt them unless they are mature, for me id like to wait until hes 6.5
