Wow, quite a front rolling into North Texas!

We met some friends for dinner at 6:00 - it was a stifling 102 when we went in the restaurant. Came out 1 1/2 hours later to high winds, lightning and a 20 degree temperature drop. Anybody getting big weather in N Texas?

Quite the lightning show in Rockwall but not a drop one. I did sit out there for a bit waiting on it and it sure as hell felt better.

Got pretty western in Fannin county. In the camper up here and the wind got up pretty high.

It’s the outflow boundary from the thunderstorms

What he said. Outflows can create enough lift to fire off a new storm

Same for me in Rockwall. Sprinkled but not even enough to wet the concrete.
