Waiting for legal shooting time the morning of the teal opener is always an eerie exciting time for me . It’s what kicks off my hunting season (I don’t dove hunt much)

And then a wad of em buzzes over sounding like a dang jet engine

Halloween through that first week of November is usually nuts around here.

Muzzleloader goes out on Oct. 25 and rifle season doesn’t open until Nov. 14, so not many people in the woods. Our rut is squarely in the middle and the weather is usually perfect.

Great weather to be outside around that time. Usually high 30s low 40s in the morning and 55ish in the afternoons. AR/MO line. Fulton and Randolph ctys

I love the bow opening weekend. Hot, lots of bugs, but the excitement of another deer season.. Only got to hunt opening weekend last year, so I'm extra excited about this year.
