    Animals in need?

Today on my way back from Pasadena i got to the beltway and 90.
The traffic light was backed up a bit. "When it is not backed up!"
Well i took the spur to the frontage road and seen a daschound hit in the road. Something caught the corner of my eye when i went by, it was 4 puppies. They was sitting there and waiting on the momma.
I stopped and went back, while i was on the road side with the pups i was dialing my wife to ok taking them home till i could give them away to someone and 2 lady's stopped and said they would take all 4 of them. So i moved the momma out of the road. And help them load the pups.
I was certain my conscience could not let me leave them on the road side.
They kinda look like a cross between daschound and beagle to me. But they could be just daschound.
What would you do if you embarked upon an animal in need?

Here are a couple of images.

You did the right thing. If you asked people what they will do for "puppies" in need, 99.9% will say they will help. Ask the same people if they will help a coyote or snake. There are a lot of people that say they "love" animals, but will go out of their way to kill a snake. Another can of worms.

Good job helping the pups. I am glad they stayed on the side of the road and didn't get hit like momma.

Looks like there's a heeler in the woodpile too!

Two thumbs up for finding them homes.

There's something wrong with a person who wouldn't stop and help them, IMO.

Good job....not a tree hugger but that just hurts my heart seeing to mama like that. They look like they have some blue heeler in them.
