I’m a firm believer in finding a choke that patterns well with your gun and sticking to it year round. Shooting clay, dove, teal, big ducks, etc. get used to your pattern and know your gun. If you can kill birds outside your decoys you can kill birds when they come in landing gear out. I used a extended modified in my sbe2. I like Kent teal steel #5 for teal season and first split. I usually go to heavy steel or Kent #3 or #4 for second split.

Used to to guide duck hunts and would shoot estate 3" number 6 steel with full choke out of my berreta. Big duck season would drop down to number 3 shot. Made it easy to finish off cripples before they got away. Full choke patterned really well with steel shot.
