Our Polaris dealer here in Iowa is 15 miles out on the gravel from any direction, but is really a nice dealership considering they are in the middle of nowhere.
We went over there Friday looking for Ranger 500 or 570. They normally have around 60 UTVs and ATVs in stock. They have like 10 total in stock. They normally have like 20 used units in stock. They have one used 2007 in stock.
He said Polaris normally has a year end clearance (2020 models), but he heard they were cancelling it because most dealers don't have any to clear out.
I know the supply chain has been interrupted in many industry's. I am a Vortex Optics dealer and right now the Vortex warehouse is dang near empty. There are way more items out of stock than in stock.
How is the side by side inventory in Texas?
I saw this message from the Polaris CEO on their website.
"Despite social turbulence and softness in our Adjacent Markets businesses, between ongoing strong consumer demand and historically low dealer inventory levels, we are well-positioned for the second half of the year. I am fortunate to work with an extremely talented team and am confident that we will navigate this pandemic, engender a more welcoming and inclusive Powersports industry, and continue building an even better and stronger business".
