That's a great picture captured. At first glance I thought East TX and the deer in the back were on the skinning rack.

I guess, since they are in velvet, they are avoiding clashing antlers together. Never seen bucks do that before, seen doe do that a lot.

Whats with the two different color variations? I know there is color variation due to deer being in different regions. Is this a game ranch where there are bucks from different areas?

no game ranch. I think he has melanistic in him. He gets darker in winter
