I hope they don’t cost me some more money! Haven’t seen any bad reviews yet.

All this leads to the question, do you pack a pair of 10s and 15s. Or a pair of 10s and a spotter. Or a set of 15s and a spotter?? In most of my hunts I can glass a ton of country. So the bigger glass is an advantage. But if hunting blow down and thick timber the 10s would be enough most of the time. I think all have their place and doing your homework on your hunt and terrain is important in picking the right tool. Some of the things I think about

That question is hunt specific but I feel like you definitely need to own a set of 10s( chest binos on every hunt) and a pair of 15s and a spotter depending on what your doing.

Unless your elk hunting or whitetail hunting. Then just a set of 10s is good. Haha

The last 3 years I’ve only packed 15s and a spotter. I don’t even own a set of 10s anymore, but can for sure see their value. I just can’t wrap my head around packing in 3 sets of optics

I would NEVER pack around 3 sets lol. But I would also never pack around a set of 15s and a spotter lol

I think that is a heck of a high country deer or otc Arizona desert deer hunt combo. I can glass them up with 15s on a tripod and verify whether I’m looking at a deer worth playing on with the spotter. Why do you think 10s and a spotter are better?

Because I will shoot any half *** mature deer lol. I can spot them with 10s and confirm with 15d. Or I can spot them with 10s and confirm with a spotter or I can spot them with 15s and confirm them with a spotter. End goal is the same which is I want to kill a mature deer

Never owned SLCs. I love my ELs. Best piece of equipment I own. I’m not sure how they can do better with the NL Pure. Idk what there is to improve on.

Bigger FOV and ergonomics. And a goofy head rest thing. Time will tell. I’m gonna have a tough time upgrading my HD ELs. Maybe into the field pro EL

I thought the same, but after trying them side by side with my EL’s, the NL’s are better in every aspect. Granted the EL’s are good enough for any and everything, but Swaro has improved upon them.

Found a deal on a new pair of SLC's so i think i'm going to go that route. Might upgrade one day but going this route for the time being. thanks for all the input!

For me if I’m gonna have to carry a tripod anyway, I’m taking a spotter and utilizing all the magnification I can.
