Sight pin size

Besides the obvious difference. Whats the difference. Advantages and dis.

For hunting purposes only I like a larger diameter. The larger fiber optics appear to transmit more light in low light conditions.

For tournament and league purposes I prefere a smaller pin. The only reason I have for this is that with the smaller diameter pin it covers less of the target at distance.

So if I get the sight light, the smaller should be fine. Correct?

On my hunting rig I use .19 or is it .019 and for my target bow I use .010. I had the smaller one on my hunting rig and didn't like it.

I use a .019 on my spot hogg for everything. When needed I turn on the light. It has three settings.

.019 for hunting, and you can add .010 for the farther yardage pin so it doesnt take up the target view so much.

.019 on my sight. no light needed....the fiber optic in them is almost too bright.

i use .010 pin on my hunting and my target bow............AIM AT A SMALL SPOT HIT A SMALL SPOT!!!!!!! I use spot hogg sights with a wrap and i have plenty of light for the pins.......i use a sight light for night hunting with a mini sniper light........works for me!!!!

i use a 19 for pins out to 40 and a 10 at 50 and 60 in a viper predator pro
