Are Axis destructive to feeders?

Put out boss buck feeder last weekend on place with Axis. Went there yesterday and the whole bottom tube had been cracked off at the tub. No hogs on place. Would axis do this???

Just put one up yesterday. We shall see. Ground was kinda tore up under feeder. Couldn’t tell. Whatever it was hammered it!

I would bet you have more hogs on the place than you think. I've had axis run through fences but I haven't had issues with them and tearing up feeders.

I have tons of Axis and never had problem. Aoudad will butt the feeder all day long and destroy to get feed out.

Elk and Red deer should be in velvet so right now it is unlikely a soft antlered animal did it. got any bears?

I have seen multiple Boss Bucks destroyed by hogs. Even with shark strips attached to the spouts.

We had Axis tear down a protein feeder after it ran out of feed.

I’ve seen Fallow really tear some feeders up! I mean REALLY aggressive. Could’ve been an isolated incident but I don’t know

Of course that was in the fall when they are hard antlered... so there is that
