    Nikon Range Finders

OK i was looking at the archers choice, and it is only to 99.5 yards.
Now my question is, Nikon ProStaff 550 does this calculate for the angle like the archers choice? Because reading the info on it, they dont say it does this.

If not, then what other Nikon finders will do like the arch. I dont want to be limited to 100yrds maybe 2 or 300 is fine.

You can shoot your bow 2 or 3 hundred yards?

If it says ID technology on the side of it, then it is the same technology.

My YardagePRO 1000 with ARC, has the 99 yard +/- .5 yard limit for the BOW MODE, the rifle mode has a larger +/- variable. I ended up buying the YardagePRO, so I could use it on the golf course too. Never could find the Nikon Choice in stores, so I opted for the Bushnell. I am pleased with it so far.

          sure can!

          20yrds+10arrows=200yrds

I do not like the bushnell one. It has a very lite readout and can barely be seen inside with store lighting. I tried it out at gander and it was very hard to read in the store. I can only imagine outside in the bright sun.

Nikons is very much readable i tested that one at triple edge a few weeks ago.
But i want a range finder with more yardage for th bow and rifle or muzzle loader.

No prostaff does not. The rifle hunter 550 has the arc/ "ID" feature. It is good to 11 yds. Inside 11 yards I don't need to range and I can use rifle hunting.

            More versital in my opinion

              I have the Bushnell 1000 Scout w/arc
It will go out to 300 yds on deer on bow range. With the rifle mode, it will also go out to 600 yds on small objects, and up to 1000? on big reflective targets, never tried that.

I know you said the read-out was light and hard to see on this model, but I think I know why. The eye piece you look through is actually adjustable...it turns left and right and darkens or lightens the readout. I almost freaked when I got mine and couldn't see anything...I had to twist it so I could read the output. I used mine a little this year, it's worked out pretty great and has some other useful features like "pinpoint" and "brush" mode which is a little useful in our Michigan swamps. I haven't had the ARC change more than a yard or two in any of my stands.

I use and we sell the Leuopold RX IIs. Actually it has more features than I can use.

I also have the Bushnell 1000 and haven't had any problems.. as long as they get in bow range, i.e. 300 yards
