PLEASE check out the magic man frank Everhart at schooner warf. He is listed on the schedule per website. You can sit and drink and watch him do card tricks that will blow your mind. Plus he is just a good dude.

Cuban Coffee Queen for lunch, Cuban sandwich was pretty dang good.
B.O.s for a fish sandwich and conch fritters for afternoon snack. Conch fritters were delicious.

Had a good time on the commotion in the ocean sunset cruise. Touristy, but the booze was good and good views.

Now at Conch Republic getting a snack, few drinks and then headed to Hog’s Breath for life music.

Went to schooners last night, was a pretty good atmosphere...hot as hell though. Frank was on schedule for 9, we stayed until 10:30 and never saw him come out.

Drunk dude broke his chair and almost hit my wife on his way falling down. Food was ok, but nothing brag about.

                    Latitudes at Sunset Key.

Free ferry over to the restaurant. Best sunset location IMO

We are staying at Margaritaville. After resort fees I think I was somewhere near $1k for five nights.

Pool leaves a bit to be desired, but if you’re not looking to hang around it then I wouldn’t be deterred. Location is great for walking to everything else.

Ate at Sandy’s Cafe today...pretty decent Cuban sandwiches. Also rented a moped and went down to Fort Zachary beach. Water was ehhhh, but they have chairs and umbrellas for $30/ day...well worth it.

After that went to Hogfish Bar and Grill...this is hands down the best food we’ve had by far. Driving up to it you’ll be thinking WTH, but don’t worry it’s safe. I got the Killer Hogfish Sandwich (three thumbs up on a two thumb scale). The wife got the pork nachos, for nachos they were pretty dang incredible too.

Still a bit of day left, not sure what the next adventure is.

That used to be the Westin. They reflagged it a couple years ago.

We used to stay there every News Years week. Rooms were $600-$800 per night but we used Starwood points.

Unfortunately, the new place doesn't take our points.

Must be nice not having all the cruise ship folks over running the town.
