We have a rental on Surfside Beach this weekend. We are planning to go knowing it will most likely be just a rain event. My question is how easily does the beach area flood due to higher then normal tides. House is about 3 rows (houses) back from the beach. Should we be concerned with our vehicles being park at the house?

I would be more concerned with the specific lot your rental sits on more than the beach tides. A lot of the homes within the village are low, especially if it has parking underneath it can hold a significant amount of water. I’d ask the management what the history is. Your always safe parking closer to the road if that’s the case.
