Is there an app for that?

This may or may not be a silly question but I’ll ask anyways! Is there a map app or similar, that would tell you total distance from point a to point b, but on a river?

For instance I want put in on a kayak under this bridge, and get out under the next bridge down stream...

I know it could be done with a hard copy map and a scale, but I don’t have a map

You could use the google earth app and draw it out.

https://thehuntersight.com has a free membership with mapping tools that will allow you to do what google earth does

You can do it on google maps too but I think on google earth it will actually account for elevation changes.
Here is another one I did of my new property.

just look it up on google maps. put the cursor on where you want to start measuring and right click. Select measure distance. Then move your cursor to the final destination and click again. It will show you distance
