I’m trying to find out some information on a strange number that has been trying to contact me...any ideas on the easiest way to find out who it might be? I don’t really want to subscribe to anything, but I’m willing to pay a one time fee if necessary. Thank you for your help!

Had a woman call me couple weeks ago wanting to know why I keep calling her.
Told her I never had called this number, not even a butt dial.
Found out that scammers can use phone numbers as their own. Might be what is going on with you.

I call back every single miss call I get on my phone. This past week I have talked to 3 different people who answered and said no I do not call you. I believe them.

I hate with a passion spam calls. I run two apps no mo robo and Robo killer. They only work as good as the known numbers.

Almost definitely a spoofed number. Looks like you’re using an iPhone by the TapaTalk tag from your last post so if you’re just wanting your phone to stop ringing, do this:

Go to Settings>Phone and tap Silence Unknown Callers. This sends any number not in your contacts to voicemail without you getting a ring.

You may miss a few legit callers trying to contact you but they can leave a voicemail or send a text. That feature has definitely made my life more peaceful.

Or just go to recent calls, click on the I (information button), scroll down and click block caller.
