    30 amp rv plug/wiring

I would like to run a new rv plug at our deer lease for my trailer other outlet has 2 others plugged in so I wanna run my own. It’s about 75-100 ft what wire and conduit do I need and what type of box should I buy and breaker? I know nothing about electricity but I wanna buy material and have rancher do it. Like he has thought the ranch.

I ran 10/2 romex and a 30amp breaker. No problems. 6 or 7 years ago

      My suggestion would be:

Get 100' of #6 S/O cable (might can get away with #8) and go buy a 30 amp RV Power outlet box with breaker. Drive T-post/set post and mount RV box behind RV. Wire in S/O cable at camp service and run/wire-in to new RV box behind RV. Plug RV in to newly set RV disconnect/plug.

          Pretty solid given the distance

Question. Can you leave the S/O cable laying on the ground?
            Sorry OP for the hijack!

#8 will work. Unless you plan to leave the circuit there I'd run it in SJOOW. Just make a long extension cord of it.

Don’t skimp on wire size, SO will cost more but will save trenching or conduit

                          Im with ya???? And S/O?????
I can't even hook up lights in my mule. My mind just can't complete the circuit as they say in the electrical biz

SO cord can be left out but may have issues if you drive over it daily. You could also use MCM direct bury and either bury or hang it off T posts or something.

its only 3 wires and not overly complicated. Just turn your power off and wire it.
