Our place isn’t to far away as crow flies but the fire would have to jump the Colorado . We a SE of the fire now. Wind shifts out of the north blowing NE it will be some to pay attention to. Red is fire our place is yellow. Not worried but need to pay attention especially with a cool front coming in tomorrow

Goldthwaite at this time needs no more donations. Their kitchen is full. We take care of our VFD!

We got a donation of wet wipes and eye drops once. Great idea that we didnt know we needed. Its dry and dirty out there. No where/way to clean up at all.

It's way more than 2500 acres. It burned about 1000 acres on my sister/bil ranch. I'll never put a blind on 4x4 timbers again. It burned to the ground. All the blinds on metal towers appear to be ok.

Was looking much better yesterday evening when I was out there, but seems to have re-kindled today (the Mills County fire). Everything will depend on wind direction but crews are reporting that conditions are not good right now.

With most of the other area fires 100% contained, hopefully they can put more resources on this one.

Our lease is at the corner of 574 and hwy 45. Anybody know how close it is to there? Our land owner said we should be good as long as the wind doesn’t shift.

Is it moving north? I have buddies on a lease 2.25 miles to the East-northeast

Wind may shift direction tonight/tomorrow. A cool front is set to move in and change our winds from the n/nw overnight, at least briefly. Maybe the front makes it that far and pushes these fires back over already scorched earth
