ATT, T Mobile or Verizon

Time for me to switch carriers, I have had Sprint for 17 years and they are worthless at this point. Stopped at their store yesterday and was told Sprint will disappear in two years due to the buyout from T Mobile. I did a search on here and really did not come up with much info.
I stopped at the ATT store and they kept drumming up hidden charges for this or that, two phone plan started at 176.00 a month and after all the"hidden fees" it was 260.00 a month. I walked out about half way through the deal. I do believe that particular store is mismanaged.
Which carrier provides the best coverage? Some say Verizon, some say ATT and now I hear T Mobile will be tops in coverage. I talked with Verizon yesterday and thought about using them. What is the best choice?

I've been with Verizon for 10+ years. I do not have any complaints and they have great coverage at my lease in South TX.

I have been with att for last 8yrs. Neither Verizon or Sprint would work at our lease so I got att. I do believe they have the best coverage. Especially if you hunt south or east.

Out of the three listed I’ve had t-mobile and ATT. Will never have T-mobile again or recommend them to any one. Nothing bad to say about our ATT experience really. We are currently with cricket and couldn’t be happier.

You gave Sprint too much credit in your original post. I don't remember having issues with their coverage but customer service was the worst I've dealt with from any company. I've had Verizon forever. Coverage is really good, but it's not cheap for what we have. Had at&t on a company phone, and my wife has it for her work phone, and no complaints. There have been times I had coverage with verizon and she did not with at&t, and vice versa.

I work at verizon. Verizon and AT & T have the best coverage overall. T-Mobile is third but way behind if you aren’t in or around a big city typically. Then Sprint is dead last.

I will say in my experience most of the people who go to T-Mobile or spring is because of the price. Never the service. That being said Verizon used to be quite a bit higher price wise but it is very competitive now with the other companies. I dont know about AT & T pricing but I think it is the same as Verizon or higher.

Verizon is offering more and more discounts than ever. If you do auto withdrawal from checking you get a $10 per line discount per month per line on most plans. If you are a veteran, student, fireman or police you can get another discount which can be $10-25 a month depending on how many lines you have.

At Verizon, it is cheaper the more lines you have up until 5. 2 is cheaper than 1. 4 is cheaper than 3 etc. After 5 they are all the same prices on unlimited plans.

I switched once before I worked at Verizon and it was a nitemare. I had to pay the termination fees to go back but I will never do it again whether I work at Verizon or not. Never had an issue anywhere in the country. And I have been ALOT of places in the middle of no where on the Harley

I bought my wife and kid older iphones and put them on cricket a couple years ago. I have AT&T and their phones have worked everywhere mine has except in Arizona on the Navajo reservation. My buddy has verizon and in parts of west Texas his works where mine wont.

I know if work did not pay for mine that I'd go with cricket as well.

I had more billing issues with Verizon than AT&T. They all have their issues. Never did have good coverage at the lease with Verizon. AT&T seems like better coverage everywhere I go. Some of my workers have Verizon and their service will suck and mine with AT&T will be just fine.

My experience is West Texas ATT is better, East Texas Verizon is better. As far as customer support, Verizon wins no questions at all.

t-mobile is the best one in the hill country second by at&t verizon is non existent there. however t-mobile gives way to verizon the further west you go

I signed up for ATT prepaid on Monday for $50 a month with unlimited data. I'd say that's a win in my book. It was cheaper than any of their contract plans. I haven't had it long enough to give a review but that was pretty good in my book. Plus that would keep you at $100 with two lines.

The manager said that they didn't have anything comparable to that plan on a contract plan. I think the only difference is you pay before the month begins instead of after.

I switched Over from att to Cricket 2 years ago. Same exact service. 2 lines with unlimited everything and hotspot on one of the phones for $90 a month. I was allowed to port my att iPhones over to cricket as well.

ATT Pre-Paid. Set up auto-draft. You're welcome. You can add up to 5 lines. I have 5 phones on my plan , never had an issue.
