covert and spartan cellular questions

im looking at trying out my first cell camera. ive narrowed it down to these two but have some questions about both.

spartan gocam 4g:
1. it appears there plans are data based. not a tech guru so how can I compare the plan difference since spartan appears to be based off data and not photo numbers?

2. how difficult is the setup compared the covert setup?

covert blackhawk:
1. does anyone have any experience with the upgrade program and how it works?

im curious as to how long I will get cell service out of either with the constant technology upgrades regarding cell service. 5g is already turning into the next thing it seems.

I personally don't own either but a friend of mine has several of the Spartans. Said they were very user friendly. Not sure on the data. They do send great pictures and videos. I've been using Spypoint Micros but I'll be changing over to the Spartans.

I am running 11 Spartan 4g/LTE cameras. I use AT&T Buy a Session plans. 4 gig of Data, good for 12 months, $75.00 for a years worth of Data. All of mine are used to monitor corral hog traps. I have never came close to using all of the data.
