    Man I was told there was a whole prep and pre boiling process for gizzards which made it seem to involved for me... I could have been doing this all along!

          That is some real good eating right there. I could make a meal of just the taters and gravy. OK, since it’s been brought up, maybe add some Grandy’s rolls for gravy sopping purposes, and Grandy’s cinnamon roll for dessert. A perfect meal. Congratulations to your wife for making such an awesome dinner.
