Very simple recipe. She just uses salt and pepper as seasoning. She has a bowl of milk with 2 eggs beaten and mixed in. A pie plate full of flour. Dip livers and gizzards in milk and egg, then roll in flour covering completely and then repeat process. Add more seasoning as desired. Enjoy!

Man I was told there was a whole prep and pre boiling process for gizzards which made it seem to involved for me... I could have been doing this all along!

That is some real good eating right there. I could make a meal of just the taters and gravy. OK, since it’s been brought up, maybe add some Grandy’s rolls for gravy sopping purposes, and Grandy’s cinnamon roll for dessert. A perfect meal. Congratulations to your wife for making such an awesome dinner.

only one I know of is in Greenville. the rest around me have closed down miss their breakfast buffets.

I cant say I have seen one since the early part of this millennium. Me and other ChemLawn techs out of Arlington/Grand Prairie would meet there once a month or so. That was in 1991!!![emoji2962]

We still have one in Sherman but they quit making livers bout 6 months ago.
