I think I have a Power Frog buried somewhere out in my shed.

      No help on OP.

      To further de-rail,,,

Pico Perch was all time favorite. I think I have one left.

Remember the little rattles that can be inserted into plastics, and attached to hooks.

I remember when Uncle Josh pork rinds came in a glass jar and the lids would always rust tight or forget about them and they would dry out on the hook.
If I remember right, we used a lot of No.11's on jigs. Dang rusty lids!

          The best of times!
Wiggla Warts are the only thing I have left from the 90s.
Mister Twister is what I remember the most from back then though.
Manns purple worms were my go to bait more often than not.
          The infomercials were incredible lmao.
And essentially you had K-mart or Walmart to buy from, and only if you could get a ride into town.
This thread brings back a lot of memories.

I caught a lot of pond bass and small private lake bass on a RattleTrap with a removable plastic, rubber like tail. I think they were Power something’s. I think an old tackle box at my parents prob still has some and some flying lures.

My Mom worked at the Woolworth's Store in town and they carried these--I bought one and actually caught a few bass on it before I lost it to a limb.

And, yes, if they got in contact with a River Runt, Jitterbug or Hula Popper, they would melt in a flash.

I think the Mepps spinner was a rip off , ever one I casted got hung up . Lol

My all time bait is the original Berkley Power Worm in motor oil or black shad. When they first came out I must've caught 5000 bass on them. I seriously fished every day and it wasn't uncommon to catch 50 bass or more in a day. My left thumb looked like it went through a meat grinder for years.

I have a huge box of assorted bass worms and lures from the 80's and early 90's. Nothing wrong with them. Still in bags, and pull some out and use them occasionally. Lots of the old style long wiggly worms, motor oil, pumpkin seed, and some chartreuse. Used to tear them up in Toledo Bend and Laccasine.

I used to catch tons of pond bass on the Dances eel. The ol Lazy Ike worm too. I was a sucker for weird baits when I was little. I had the snake ones and mouse one. Neve caught crap in those. [emoji846]
