Scott release: Rod, NCS or RCS connection

Do you guys prefer the solid rod connection for hunting or the ncs/rcs? I like the "forgivenes" of the ncs but think maybe the rod connection is easier to use if you're in a hurry and need to hook up quick. Your thoughts.....

I prefer the ncs just more comfortable IMOP

I've only used the rod connection style and like it, but can't give an honest, objective comparison between the two syles. Waiting on some input as well.

When I shot a Scott I preffered the NCS or RCS (Nylon Connector or Rope Connector), It made it easy to handle plus I could tuck it into my sleave and keep it out of the way while walking, climbing, etc......I still use the Scott NCS strap with a Carter Quickie and Two Shot release...

          Just a note:

Not alot of difference between NCS and RCS once they break in...

Ncs and rcs are must quieter while hunting if you accidently bump something metallic

I have a Scott with the rcs and use it when it's cold but when it's warm I use
a grip stile Scott with a hook

Before I switched to the Carter release, I used the Nylon strap on my Scott, and I like it better than the solid bar release. I actually prefered the old style rigid releases that had the steel cable strap through the black hose that did not swivel better than the rod that is hinged at the wrist strap. Don't use any of them now.

NCS I like it because I can slip the release between my wrist and the strap till I need it. It stays out of the way unlike the rod

The NCS it is flexible and out of the way when not in use.
