Had to put my Lab down

If photo came through he is the Lab on the left. He has been with me for 9 years but developed lymphatic cancer. Put him down this morning. As a Viet Nam vet I used running to deal with PTSD, after Dr’s banned me from running the only thing that helped was my Lab, Max. Great dove dog and did well at tracking as well. This one hurt.

Sorry to hear that. They are never here long enough.

It's a tough thing to do no doubt. I have done it twice. You did the right thing for your animal but that doesn't make it any easier. They are just like a family member.

They all hurt down deep inside. I can say that from down deep inside as I made that call to put mine down 3 months ago. The hurt will subside but the memory will never fade enjoy the memories and someday you will just be looking off and smiling from all the memories.

So sorry for your loss. I've lost a couple I was close to. My lab now is like no other I've ever known and my heart aches thinking of that day. Prayers for you sir.

                            So sorry

What we once enjoyed and deeply loved we can never lose, for all that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
