All I can see is last seasons dates. Archery opener should be on 10-3-2020 a Saturday.

Yep dove season starts during the week as well. I called TPWD to confirm and they said if that's the dates posted on their website then they are correct.

The south zone dove season open date is the dumbest **** I have ever seen by those red tape bureaucrats. When you can set the date whenever you want why open it on a **** Monday. STUPID! Makes me think its all about the outfitters and the almighty dollarComment

The seasons fall in line with what has been done for numerous years. Dove is always Sept. 1 and 14th depending on zone. Archery deer is closest Sat to Oct. 1 and General Deer is first Sat in Nov. so I'm not sure how any of this is surprisingComment

Thanks for posting gtsticker, good to see those fall and winter months and days listed on the new hunting season. Will keep reminding myself these dates are just around the corner, and this will help get me through July/August 100 degree days.Comment
