shoulder tendinitis

Morning folks, I spent roughly 80 hours spot spraying in the spring and it wrecked my right shoulder. I believe that motion of holding my arm out for so long did it. That shoulder has always been sore from a horse injury but it's full blown pain for the last month. I'm just wondering is this a cortisone shot type fix or a surgery type fix? Years ago I had elbow tendinitis and that shot made it disappear. I'll get to doc someday.

Need to see an orthopedic surgeon. I had a similar condition--couldn't even raise my draw arm to comb my hair--I've had 3 or 4 of the injections in the past 5 years, but none in the past 2 years. Completely resolved. I'm a lefty and my injury is a frayed rotator cuff and from many many years of baseball/softball and wrong technique in the gym--
