The boat he is on runs out of Cypress Cove Marina.

If they were in the fish or if the seas were high, I imagine he is asleep by now.

I got some video from Nick from yesterday (Nick is the captain of the Voodoo charter I went fishing with on Sunday) and it looked incredibly smooth out there.

I'm betting they got into the fish pretty good.

If he had to reel up more than one of those YFT, he is probably still recovering.

We just came back in from an over night trip with Paradise outfitters here in Venice. We limited out on big tuna and snapper both. There was 4 of us. We were out with Capt. Drew and deck hand Jack. We hooked up on a quad one time and hooked up on a triple. Out of those 7 fish hooked, we boated 6 of them in less than an hour of fishing. One got off. Most guides will make you bring all lines in once you get one hooked up. These guys work for you. I had 2 big fish break me off. Another guy had one break him off. After the fish was all cut up, bagged and vacuum sealed, we ended up with 409 pounds of meat.

Just wanted to say that these guys with Paradise were top notch and they will work their butts off for you. The overnight trip was awesome. Way better than 2 day trips. At night we did some slab spoon jigging and caught smaller 10-12 pound black fin tuna until our arms hurt......literally.

Another update. We did a bay trip this morning for bull Reds. We went out with Brent Bailey. We tore them up for 2 solid hours. 20-30 pounders **** near on every cast there for a while. We were using a popping cork with a jig under it. I’ve never felt a fish fight like that on a light tackle/spinning reel setup. It was super fun. We ended up having to take it in early though due to a pretty decent storm that rolled in. It was still an awesome morning though.

I saw voodoo at Ursa last Friday as well as a big black cat that looked aluminum. Obviously a guide boat but I am unsure of who it was

The black boat was probably Hunter Cabellero with Paradise Outfitters. He has a black aluminum cat.

I need to book a trip there with the family soon, I’m in Destin now and our offshore trip got cancelled because of 10ft seas tomorrow.

Lodging, fishing trip, food, fuel for the boat (our trip, this was $800), travel expenses, and tip, it ran us about $1000 / head.
