    Blue Wave Boat Dealers

Has anyone (or someone you know) dealt with any of the boat dealers in the Houston area who sell Blue Wave boats? Ron Hoover, Premier Yamaha, Mt. Houston Marine, etc.? There's a good chance I will be dealing with one of these places in the not too distant future, and I'm trying to narrow down who I should be talking to. My main concern is how they handle warranty/service/repair work.

I’ve stored my 98 key west at Mt Houston Marine for 18 years. The maintenance and repairs I don’t do myself I always have them handle. Never had an issue with their work, and have even had them expedite some work that popped up right before a week long trip to Matagorda. Also have a buddy who bought a used pathfinder from them. He lives in Pasadena, but takes his boat to them for all maintenance and repairs as well.

Mt Houston is a first class family owned dealer. They will give you the personal attention you deserve both before and after the sale. Ask for Glenn when you go in there.

I bought a boat from Ron Hoover and will not do that again.

Only advice I have is to listen to the Mt. Houston Marine suggestions and avoid all others you listed

Mt Houston is the way to go hands down.

Great boats and great people. Won Pimp my wave in 2014. They took my 1999 22’ Ron Behnke edition and put $35,000 into it. Got it back in June 2015. Really enjoy their owner’s tournament.

I'm glad it worked out for you, because my Dad went through living hell with them 10-15 years ago. Bought a new boat, was always in the shop, always got the "he's in a meeting" or "he's at lunch" response when he called and asked to talk to the salesman who sold him the boat, etc. It got to where he would tell us, "Y'all be ready to come bail me out of jail, because I'm going to end up throwing a chair through the front window." Like, BAD bad. He ended up owning the boat for about five years, then sold it for less than half of what he paid for it.

I called Mt. Houston today, and they're going to send me an estimate to get the ball rolling. Kind of one of those you know somebody who knows somebody deals, but my Dad's cousin's daughter went to school with the owner's grandaughter's husband (who works there). Small world...

I got my Nautic Star 22’ from Mt HOUSTON. Had a good experience there.
