    Awesome customer service from Swarovski

One if the eye cups on my EL’s got cross thread. I called them up and shipped to them. They fixed it, fixed loose eye cup on opposite side, cleaned them, put new eye cup protectors on them, and shipped them back with cleaning supplies at no charge. Great customer service.

    Great to hear!

Majority (except Leica) of the higher end optic company’s have great reviews with customer service but we don’t hear about them as much since their products stay put and function well! Obviously vortex is a exception since their stuff breaks all the time and their warranty department is the most discussed aspect of their optics...

Pretty much. Almost all of the good optics companies will take care of you, they just don’t go on and on about it.

You can pretty much judge the quality of optics by their warranty. If they repair the item you sent in it's usually a quality product. If they replace it with a new one it's usually substandard. Build them cheap, triple the profit, and expect a certain percentage of returns.

I had a leica rangefinder for years, i scratched the glass , sent it back.. they sent me a brand new update model no questions asked.

I had a Burris eliminator, remote quit working, they sent me a brand new eliminator 3 newer model no questions asked.

I had a vortex pst , after years little particles showed up on the crosshair plane, they sent me a brand new scope no questions asked.

I had a leupold 3x9 scope , the body turned red-ish (too much time in the sun)
they sent me a brand new scope no questions asked.

I guess I should not buy substandard products.

on the other hand , i had a Sig scope that was blurry, a month later they sent my scope back still blurry saying it was within specs... Great!

Leica and swaro both been great to me. I send mine in every few years and both swaro and leica will clean em up and ship back at no charge.

Cowboy in mex had a really old pair of Burris binocs that looked off kilt.
Sent them in and Burris sent me a new pair of $500 binocs.
                  All great experiences

I just recently had a similar experience with Swarovski. The rubber rings on my eye cups kept coming off of my binos. I sent them an email and pictures. They sent me a brand new pair of eye cups.
