Storage Tanks for blinds where to buy?

I think I want to try to make a ground blind out of one of these. I put a pop up in the same spot every fall, and it just crumbles after a while. I imagine this pic with a camo paint job on exterior and black paint on the interior, add some new shoot through mesh every year and BAM.

Anyone know where to buy these tanks? Used? factory defects?

    Thanks

It took me months to sell the ones I had on here. Where were you last summer?

That's because they are really a tough thing to sell when a Krivoman blind is so reasonable in price and put together so well.

I believe there is a place near Abilene that sells them specifically for this purpose, also check Craigslist in surrounding towns under water tanks. I have seen them being sold there also.

Ding, Ding, Ding!!! OP, do yourself a favor and before you do ANYTHING, get the price for a ready-to-hunt Krivoman blind, then go price out windows, doors and hardware that will be necessary to build one, add in the cost of the tank and something for your time... You'll quickly find that you're likely money ahead to just go buy one that is bullet proof and ready to hunt!

Coming from someone who built a tank blind, this is the best advise ever. After I bought a tank, built a door, paint, rubber floor, built a platform, windows, and whatever else, I wished I had bought a Krivo. Plus, that 1500 gallon tank is heavy. And you cannot move it very easily by yourself like the Krivo. I have to use a tractor when I want to move mine.

Plus they are lighter and easier to set up and move.

I found 2 on craigslist.. They are pretty dang big, think I paid 300 a piece for them, for me and lease mate. Good Luck, I've been looking for another for another lease member.
