Seriously it looks like when of them chingi that would go on the end of a log chain.

Probably something, someone got their butt chewed out, for loosing many years ago.

Most likely would be something related to boot strapped tree climbing spikes.

That's kind of what I was thinking it could be, but it was found with a lot of other relics so I couldn't be sure if it was logging related. Found everything from a bayonet scabbard and a spur to model A and T parts, along with all the logging tools and personal items.
