    thought you guys might like to see a hog taken in a subdivision outside Atlanta, GA recently. Pig was weighed on certified scales at over 1100 lbs. They don't just grow em big in Texas.

          LOL!

          1000 pound hogs are a dime a dozen in Texas! They swing from trees in front yards all over the State!

            I stuck a 500 #er with a carbon stick. I don't know if I would've tried it with that one unless I was WAY up in a BIG tree...

              That's a sure enough big piggy there..BUT they do grow'em bigger in TEXAS.. Had to say that...It's in my blood..LOL

                  Pig doesnt look wild to me.. must be some new super strain, because if you catch one over 400 lbs here in texas it is the ultimate trophy...I think it is just a big domestic boar...not feral...I have hog hunted with dogs for years, and a huge hog is 12 inches from nose to eyes... Plus it has a pug nose on it...not a roto-rooter like the wild hogs that I kill...

                        I agree, looks domestic. The face is too fat and those itty bitty chompers are embarrassing. IMO it's only feral in the sense that it got loose from the farm somewhere and maybe was loose for a while.
