Amsterdam and Prague...Where to go? ANd Where to Eat?

Well my wife and I have decided that from London, we are going to go to Amsterdam and Prague. Where should we go and where should we eat in these cities? We will not be doing the drugs and sex tour, so please save those ideas. Also, I don't eat Chinese or Indian food.

Was last in Amsterdam in 1987. Go see the Riksmuseum (world class art...Rembrant's "Night Watch"), Van Goh Museum (more great art), take a city boat tour, go to the living museum town (windmills and wooden shoes) just outside the city (can't remember name but worth it). As for places to eat I can't think of anything that I would recommend. Since you are staying away from the Red light District I will not suggest going to the show at Casa Roja (wink,wink...nod, nod...LoL). Have fun!

Oh no, don't tell me that. My wife knows that will be a no no. Actually I think there are some cool tours there. Restaurants are my biggest concerns,

Prague:

All of the Ambiente owned places are good especially The Living Restaurant. http://www.ambi.cz/ambi_living_kontakt_eng.php

There are a few other places but I can't remember the names. I will have to look on a map. A good rule of thumb, everything on Old Town Square and Wencelas Square is overpriced. Except for the Beer Factory of course. They have a tap at each table!

The Dutch say they work in Rotterdam, rule in The Hague, and play in Amsterdam. It's true.

It is a great stop after London. They will speak english and they will be easier to understand then some of the Londoners!

I'm with ElCheapo. Riksmuseum in Amsterdam. There are several others there worth going to also.

The dutch eat pretty good also. There will be plenty to eat and plenty to see.
