    Netflix Show

I stumbled across a pretty cool show on Netflix last night called History 101. They have an episode on how China has grown to where they are now since the 70's. Crazy growth, but all because every country and every corporation is a sell out.

Lot's of other cool ones on there as well.

Just looked it up on IMDB because I have never heard of it and the reviews sure are bad. Lots of talk about more emotions then facts and full blown lies and what not.

        Sense any of that?

It IS Netflix, after all. I wouldn't even call some of what I've seen on there "documentaries."

I believe someone mentioned this in an earlier post about what to watch during COVID incarceration. Haven't done it yet but it's on my list.

With any documentary it is going to be biased depending on who made it. But I like to broaden my horizon and learn as much as possible, and this isn't really a documentary per se. The format of the episodes is probably not to most people's liking, but each episode is only 30 minutes. Lot's of good information on the one about NASA and China. The fast food one was good too.

It definitely feels like someone has an agenda. I wouldn’t say more emotion than fact, but it is pretty opinionated for a documentary. Like others have said, it does present some pretty cool information. Most of the time I can absorb the useful info, and just laugh off the weird emotional/opinionated parts. It would definitely be a better show, if that wasn’t the case. But, that’s pretty much SOP for Netflix.
