    He never showed again.................

I didn't post during the season, I think you'll understand why.

So what do you think of this deer? Private land, low fence, VERY close to public land in Montgomery County. He only showed up once. Got 6 pictures, here's the best two.

At least 23 points, probably 7+ years old. Score????? wouldn't even know where to begin. Lets say between 160 and 200, maybe more.

Looks like he has a typical 8 point frame in there, then just trash everywhere.

maybe he'll come back to drop sheds????? talked to a few neighbors, they never heard of or saw him. I'd say he's pretty smart.

He looks to be a very old deer from the pics. What an amazing deer! Hopefully you will get a chance at him. Although, I think my heart would jump out of my chest before I could get a shot off.

That deer looks older than dirt! I hope he makes it another season. It would be a shame for a deer like that to die of natural causes and the rack never found.

Montgomery County huh? I've seen some good deer around my parts but nothing like that! I know of a couple big bruisers killed this past year off of 149 east out of Montgomery near the SHNF. Their was also a big double clubbed drop tine buck killed not even a half a mile off of 45 near the San Jac. River. I held the rack in my hands.

What a monster! I don't blame you for keeping things quite during the season when you
have a deer like that in your area. He didn't get that good by accident. He's obviously
learned many life lessons in order to avoid everyone. Good luck this next season!

That looks just like a buck that was on the back wall of Henry’s Hide Out in Todd.
