    S La all inclusive charters??

Ned suggestions for a weekend guys trip to Venice or wherever! Looking to do the all inclusive route. 4 of us most likely. Maybe fish the marsh a day or 2 and bowfish one evening while we drink beer and solve the worlds problems! Buddy has reps that go to Saltgrass every year but was looking for more suggestions in case everybody is booked up. I think I have 4 free weekends between now and October so it might be a tall task to find one anyhow. I need some good groceries and to catch some ocean perch!

    Thanks!

The Cadillac of all inclusive bay/marsh fishing (even duck hunting in the fall) in South Louisiana is Grosse Savanne Lodge. 5-star accommodations, 5+ star food, and the best guides on the LA gulf coast with hospitality off the charts.

I’ve always had a good time at Hackberry Rod and Gun.

If you are looking for tuna or going out in gulf then go to Venice but if your looking for marsh, flats, wade, and stuff of that sorts the se la is closer and better imo, grosse savanne is the place if you want 5 star do it all, also hackberry rod and gun club is a cant lose either. I have buddies that guide at each place and wouldn’t hesitate to go with either. I grew up there and fished those areas my entire life. Other option is chandelier islands, it’s out on the other side as well with Venice adds at least 6 hours of drive time as well.

Agreed EXCEPT for the drive time... Drive time from Houston (for instance) to Gulfport MS vs. Venice is only 2 hours... And if you're going in the Spring or Fall, Venice could be longer drive time (when the fog rolls in off the river... been there, done that!

Look up backwaters guide service in hackberry. Boudreaux is a top notch guide that will put you on the fish.

Yes, James is cool cat. He used to be pretty good pro saddle bronc rider.

Here is something to think about. You mentioned Venice(East LA) and others has mentioned Hackberry(West LA). East has a 25 trout limit, West is 15.

Here's a link to a lot of outfitters

Gotcha. But them boyz puts on a good show and in reality, worth every penny. Lotta history in that lodge and operation... Dates back to the days of commercial duck/goose hunting... They bought all that marsh for $0.15/acre back when they got started!! Much of the marsh on the south/southwest side of Big lake is private marsh owned by those guys... Fantastic marsh fishing, and the lakes they have around the lodge are full of crappie and bass too (well, and some Booner size gators too)!

Check out southern exposure in Buras.
                          Just got back from there.
Decent accommodations. Great food. All the beer you can drink and great fishing.
