I have seen this comment a couple times over the past few years and wanted to explain a few things some might be missing about having dealers around the state.

How I work is that I do not put my blinds all over the place on Consignment. Just not smart for me to do that. So What I do is discount them slightly and my dealers have to mark them up slightly. that way there is room for them to make a profit while paying for shipping and upfront cost.

Some people say that they can drive down to Leander and get them for less. This may be true on paper. But I am trying to help you from having to waste a hole day. Lets take Dallas Ft worth Area. It is at least 3 hours to my shop from that area. So you are looking at minimal of a 7 hour day. So your hole day is pretty much shot. Then you throw in Gas and meals and you have spend a couple 100 and 7 hours. So the blind is actually costing the same in Dallas as it does in Leander without wasting a day. The further you get from leander the more expensive it cost you to drive.

So are my dealers are usually about $150-200 more than here. I guess it just depends on what value you put on your time.

I need to have dealers around the state cause Texas is a big place. I hope this may shed some light on why these blinds cost a little more than here in Leander. Try to support your local guys.
