I’ve had surgery on both shoulders, 1st was left side bone Spurs easy one. 2nd was right side torn rotator cuff, bicep tendon was reattached, did all the physical therapy as ordered.
12weeks turn the bow down To 55lbs and worked my way back to 65lbs. Now I have a small rip on the top of my right rotator cuff, keeps my up at night, Work is way too slow right now to take a chance on getting laid off. All work was done at Tomball sports med center.

Ive had 4 shoulder surgeries in the last 4 years(3 on the left and 1 on the right). The left I had completely tore all 3 tendons of the rotor cuff, completly tore my bicep tendon, and tore my labrum. The right was a partially torn rotator cuff, bicep tendon, and labrum. I'm shooting and holding 53# and 67# about 20 times a week. My advice do your physical therapy and do more reps. So when the PT says 20 you do 25 or 30. Also invest in a Bow Trainer with the 4 different bands. Recovery is different but I shot competitively for 30 years and I think that helped me recover faster than usual. Im still not fully recovered but I'd think another 6 months and I will be 90% which is better than expected since my disability rating was 67%...

Recover varies drastically depending on what actually has to be done. I was back doing limited workouts in 3 weeks where 2 friends of mine were in immobilizing braces for 6 weeks and then had several weeks of painful PT

I have several partial tears that I’ve rehabbed (put a band aid on) to get by. Recovery varies drastically. A guy I javi Hunt with is in mehhhh shape. Had surgery first of December and was pulling 60 on javi trip first of March. Wasn’t pretty but he could do it. My BIL is the most insane fitness person I’ve ever seen in my life. Had his rebuilt and bicep tendon and was at 100% in record time

Neither was a full year as I’m sure yours isn’t or you would know it

Same here, but I was going to give it to my MIL for her birthday.
