    Cowboy Disk Cookers-(Cheap-Delivered)

I found a guy on the Lubbock craigslist that made me a disk cooker and his service is highly recommended I live in Ft. Worth he shipped my cooker to my front door and all he charged me was $52! Anywhere online they are going for 50 to 75$ without shipping now 52 buck to your front door is a deal! Trust me if your looking for a cooker then use this guy, I like his style and he's trustworthy. He puts horseshoes or spring handles on and he'll put your initials on the bottom of the cooker, it comes seasoned ready to go. Shipping may run different according to your location but only the minimum on shipping I guarantee it.

Tell him Steve from Ft. Worth sent you.

Here is his email address send him an email and he will send you pics and choices of 19' 20' 22' cookers. harlerodr@aol.com

Sounds like a steal of a deal! Guess I'd rather spend my money with one of own before a stranger from Craig'slist though.

Appreciate the info.....I just sent a request off myself. Been looking to purchase one of these for awhile.

Do you know what or if there was a price difference in the disk size?

On the DIY thread I posted how I welded 3 steel nuts to the bottom to screw-in threaded rod as legs for a future upgrade.

If it is a new disk he would have to steal the disk. Shipping is about $10-$15 plus the box you put it in. Horseshoes are about $4 for two, blank disks are $36.95 plus tax each, sanding disks at Home depot are 1.89 each and it takes 2 disks to a disk, and then welding rods. Unless he is using used disks and filling in the shaft hole or stealing the actual disk I dont see how he is donig it. I just made some and Jyoung figured my cost of making one at $48 give or take a few cents. Ive seen some that they called cowboy cookers that were not made from a plow disk and were about 16 inches. If it is an actual disk cooker your postage should say it is 24lbs give or take a few ounces.

My folks are farmers we got all kinds of old disk laying around. I made 6 or 8 cookers awhile back and didnt have $10 in all of them. I wouldnt discout him as a thief just yet.

Jeff, can you pick up my two?

I've had a hard time getting loose to make my way over to Glen's.

                              Will this work Glen?
